It's my husband's birthday on Sunday but as he never looks at my blog I'm quite safe to post his card here! A looming Ofsted inspection at the school where I'm a Governor has kept me too busy to craft just lately so I decided to stick to quite a simple card, although it seemed to take a long time to put together. The "record" consists of simple Spellbinders circles cut on my Cuttlebug and is in fact a pocket, in which I'll be putting some tickets to a concert I've bought him tickets for - if they arrive in time!
The notes were either cut on my Sizzix Eclips or stamped in Memento Lady Bug. The black sentiment using Anna Marie stamps was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black, the "golden oldie" was cut in gold mirri card on my Eclips using Penultimate Light.
I'm hoping I'm not too late to enter this into this week's challenge over at Less is More where the theme is black, metallic & one.
This a fun card that caught my eye over at LIM. Love the idea of a pocket for the tickets.and good luck with OFSTED! :)

This really appeals to me! It caught my eye over at LIM. How did you get the shine on that Ol' vinyl?? There are so many special people in my life who would enjoy receiving this card. Very clever!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry this is such a tardy visit.
